The Career Center of the Max Delbrück Center is searching for an employee (m/f/d) with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion to start as soon as possible. With your organizational and interpersonal skills, you will support the organization of events, the maintenance of the alumni database, the creation of social media content, as well as initiatives on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Job Description
Support of Max Delbrück Center DEI, Career Service & Alumni Relations activities:
- Support with initiatives on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion topics (events, social media)
- Organization of career and networking events
- Maintenance of the Alumni database
- Creation of content for social media and the networking platform MDC Connect
- Compilation of statistics and reports
Requirements
- Enrolment at a university is a prerequisite; a background in biosciences (or a similar field) is advantageous
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency in English, and German knowledge is a plus
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Excellent knowledge of online graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
- Good knowledge of social media platforms
- Basic programming skills in R are a plus

Salary
Remuneration will be according to the TVöD Bund, depending on the personal requirements, up to the fee group E3.
